(WLOS) — Saturday is a Weather Warn Day for western North Carolina and the Upstate due to the combination of heavy rain, isolated flooding and a few severe storms.
Rounds of rain are expected, and impacts may occur where storms repeatedly track over the same areas.
Rain chances increase Friday afternoon into Friday night, with periods of heavy rain developing by evening.
Isolated flooding is possible, especially in the mountains and along the Blue Ridge, where rainfall rates may be higher.
