GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — The Alachua County Sports and Events Center will continue operating its indoor track programs despite bankruptcy proceedings involving Celebration Pointe, county officials said.
A county spokesperson said Alachua County severed ties with the implicated companies and is not impacted by the bankruptcy lawsuit.
Sports and Events Manager Stephen Rodriguez said the multi-use facility focuses on indoor track during the winter months. The facility is the only indoor track facility in Florida and attracts people from across the state and around the world, Rodriguez said…
