DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — The Decatur Police Department says a man was arrested for shooting into an occupied home.
DPD said Takalem Haley was arrested on Wednesday on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and third-degree domestic violence.

The department said the charges stem from an incident on Dec. 8, 2025, when officers were called out to the 100 block of Poplar Ct. SE around 9:34 p.m. on a report of a shooting into an occupied home.
