BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) — Gov. Andy Beshear has awarded nearly $3 million in grant funds to railroad and local governments to fund nine projects for industrial access and railway infrastructure improvement in seven counties across Kentucky.
The projects, announced Thursday, are funded through two programs administered by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The Cabinet will support rail line rehabilitation and expansion, access road construction, and signal and lighting upgrades at public crossings.
