HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — There’s a free program coming to the county to get 4-year-olds ready for their first year of kindergarten.
Ready, Set, Kindergarten is a collaboration between Horry County Schools, United Way of Horry County and Rise With Reading.
It will place 4-year-olds and their parents in a mock kindergarten classroom setting for an hour. This will allow kids a chance to get more comfortable in a learning environment, while also giving parents a chance to see how their child does in a new social setting…
