FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A disturbance in Fort Pierce that involved gunfire prompted a law enforcement response in the area.
On Thursday at about 7:20 p.m. SLCSO deputies responded to a disturbance near West 1st Street in Fort Pierce. The sheriff’s office says while its deputies were en route a man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
