ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- A Bellville man was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 302 and Farm-to-Market Road 866, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.
Officials said the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on January 7. Troopers said a 2022 Ford F-250 was traveling westbound in the inside lane of SH 302 when it collided with a 2024 Peterbilt 567 with a trailer that was traveling southbound on FM 866.
Investigation revealed that the driver of the Peterbilt failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, causing the trailer to block the westbound lanes of SH 302. The Ford struck the trailer, authorities said…
