BROOKSHIRE, Texas — Texas Department of Public Safety troopers pulled a driver over in Brookshire for speeding and an illegal window tint violation. And that stop led to felony charges after what was found in the trunk.
While the car was pulled over, troopers say they saw items commonly associated with catalytic converter thefts. They searched the vehicle and found 10 catalytic converters stuffed in the trunk.
