Lubbock woman fights for life as she battles liver failure

LUBBOCK, Texas–A Lubbock woman is fighting for her life as she awaits a new liver transplant. LeShaya Patten is fighting liver disease and needs a liver transplant. LeShaya is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Dallas. According to her partner of six years, Deyonta McDaniel, LeShaya started showing signs of liver failure in September.

“Shae started showing signs in like September, but in October, it got super bad,” McDaniel said.
