Norman plans $7.9 million homeless shelter to ease City Care’s overcrowding crisis

NORMAN-(KOKH) — The city of Norman released renderings of a newly proposed homeless shelter designed to serve the community.

“Right now, we have a 52 bed capacity and we’re at 100% capacity every day,” said Shawn Loyd, Chief Programs Officer for City Care.
