LOUISIANA — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on the Westbank Wednesday.
According to police, the incident happened on Elizardi Boulevard near Lawrence Street. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
