New Orleans braces for 4–6 inches of rain, severe storm threat

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for most of southeast Louisiana and parts of the Mississippi Gulf Coast as the region prepares for rain to push into the area.

A strong southerly breeze continues to pump in warm, moist Gulf air to fuel showers and storms into the day Friday.

Some storms will continue through Saturday morning…
