STILLMAN VALLEY, Ill. (WTVO) — Stillman Valley High School’s Head Coach Mike Lalor announced his retirement on Wednesday, bringing an end to a 28-year career.
Lalor is an Illinois High School Football Coaches Association (IHSFCA) Hall of Fame Coach, having a 223-88 record, with a .717 winning percentage. His teams have made 21 playoff appearances, winning five state championships.
“Mike Lalor’s impact on Stillman Valley High School is impossible to measure,” said Athletic Director Henry Robison. “He set the standard for excellence, not only through championships and wins, but through the way he developed young men and represented our school with integrity. His legacy will continue to be felt for many years.”…
