The City of Madison Transportation Commission met Wednesday to review and discuss the Wisconsin Department of Transportation or WisDOT’s plan to expand the beltline, as well as some other major changes.
The WisDOT proposal adds an additional lane to the entire length of the beltline, extends the flex lane, adds weaves to the beltline, some underpasses and overpasses, and adds eight bike and pedestrian connections and interchanges.
