TULSA, Okla. — On Thursday, a jury convicted the man discussed in a 2024 Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office press conference on two counts of First Degree Rape.
In 2024, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said Joshua Dacosta, a man originally from Guyana living illegally in the United States, was accused of raping four Tulsa women across an 11 year time period.
Dacosta was identified after his DNA was entered into the national database related to the 2019 rape case of an underage girl. His DNA was then matched to three other unsolved rape cases, according to authorities…
