No injuries after Albuquerque Public School bus crashes on edge of embankment

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque Public School bus ended up in a precarious place Thursday morning. The vehicle was found hanging off the edge of Forest Road 333 just north of Tierra Monte Road. No kids were on board, and the driver did not sustain any injuries.

Bernalillo County Fire Rescue said the bus slid off the roadway and landed on the side of a 30-foot steep embankment. Crews worked to stabilize the bus, prevent any more movement, and safely got the driver out.
