Former Public Information Officer speaks on investigation process following LDS Church shooting

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A former law enforcement official speaks on mass incidents, following mass shooting at LDS church that killed two and injured six others.

On Jan. 7, at approximately 7:36 p.m., Salt Lake City Police Department Officers received a call for a shotting at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse at 660 North Redwood Road.

Law enforcement officers from across the Salt Lake area responded to the scene, where they learned that an altercation broke out in the church parking lot while a funeral was being held. During the altercation, shots broke out and eight people were injured…
