Construction on the Kyrene, Roosevelt, Farmer Bike/Ped Improvements Project is anticipated to start on Jan. 20. The project area is between University Drive and Baseline Road and will use a combination of Farmer Avenue, Roosevelt Street, and Kyrene Road.
Proposed improvements include a cycle-track (two-way separated bike facility), buffered bike lanes, wayfinding signage, street crossing treatments, new sidewalks, ADA directional ramps, and a new pedestrian signal at Western Canal and Baseline Road. The project is set to wrap up in the fall…
