The man who previously pleaded guilty to criminal negligent homicide in connection with a fatal dog attack in Albany in 2024 was sentenced to prison Friday in Albany County Court.
Omar Daniels will spend the next 2-4 years in state prison. That will run consecutively to the nine years he’s now serving on a separate criminal possession of a controlled substance conviction.
