Man charged with assaulting ICE officer during traffic stop in DeKalb County

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A federal grand jury in Huntsville has charged a man with assualt after biting an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer during a traffic stop in DeKalb County, according to U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona.

According to a one-count indictment filed in the U.S. District Court, Antonio Juan-Juan, 30, is a Guatemalan national.

ICE conducted the investigation, along with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
