Man arrested for stealing $126 worth of Papa John’s pizzas at gunpoint, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with robbery after a DoorDash driver was robbed at gunpoint while making a delivery.

Jorein Thomas was arrested just before 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 and is charged with first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence after police say he stole $126.08 worth of Papa John’s pizza from a delivery driver.

According to the arrest report, Louisville Police responded to a call of an armed robbery in the 9800 block of Turnpike View Drive. Officers arrived and talked to a woman who said she was a DoorDash driver making a delivery to the house when a man walked around the side of the building, pointed a gun at her and told her to drop the pizza…
