Mobile couple accused of shooting police officer held on more than $3 million cash bond

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two people allegedly involved in a 5-hour standoff that resulted in one officer being shot are being held on a more than $3 million cash-only bond each.

Justin Sinea and Aerielle Perreault were arrested Jan. 4 after they reportedly barricaded themselves in a home on Tuscaloosa Street and opened fire on police officers, hitting and seriously injuring one.

The two were in court Monday, where they were officially charged with:

  • 12 counts of attempted murder — four uniformed officers and eight SWAT officers
