KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 6-foot-tall bundle of joy made her debut at the Kansas City Zoo just a few days after Christmas.
The KC Zoo welcomed female Masai giraffe, Aspen, into the herd on Dec. 29, 2025.
Masai giraffes are listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the zoo is partnered with Save Giraffes Now to effort in human and wildlife coexistence.
According to the zoo, Aspen is in good health. She is spending time with her siblings and getting a “masterclass in zoomies.”…
