St. Louis interstate trash piles worry residents

ST. LOUIS – Trash accumulation along interstates in St. Louis has become a noticeable problem, raising concerns from residents about the city’s image, especially for visitors arriving at the airport.

“People arriving at the airport are going to come on Highway 70 or 64/40 and they’re going to see a lot of trash,” said Jim Velten, a resident.
