The legal saga involving two former Convention Center workers’ case against the city of San Antonio has taken another turn.
Maria Villegas and Sarah Schneuker, who allege they were subjected to sexual harassment, gender discrimination and retaliation while employed as maintenance workers at the Convention Center, dropped their bid to have the lawsuit certified as a class action.
In July, state District Judge Antonia “Toni” Arteaga had denied the women’s motion to certify the case. She later reversed the ruling but subsequently said she did so “inadvertently,” and let her initial ruling stand…
