Colton Fagundes and Seth Hegene, two defendants convicted in a fatal shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort, have been sentenced to decades in prison.
The shooting occurred at the Reno hotel and casino and left one person dead, prompting a large police response. Prosecutors said the incident began as a confrontation and escalated into gunfire inside the resort.
Following their convictions, a judge sentenced both Fagundes and Hegene to 10 to 25 years in prison on the murder charge. Each was also given a consecutive sentence of 5 to 15 years for a deadly weapon enhancement, meaning the additional time must be served on top of the murder sentence…
