2 arrested after fight involving pepper spray breaks out at Northeast Ohio ICE protest

CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – Two men were arrested Thursday evening after a fight involving pepper spray at an ICE protest in Canton.

According to reports from Canton Police, at around 4:47 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Market Avenue North and Tuscarawas Street West after a report of a man pepper-spraying protesters.

Officers were flagged down, and the suspect, identified as Jeremy Lewis, was detained. Police said he had a small amount of blood on his face, “consistent with involvement in a physical altercation.”…
