ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A Watervliet man is heading to prison for his involvement in the 2022 burglary of a Washington County gun store.
NewsChannel 13 reported in September that Kwahpreme Mitchell admitted to taking some stolen guns from the men who broke into Calamity Jane’s Firearms in October 2022. Mitchell exchanged cocaine for some of the 31 guns stolen during the break-in.
Mitchell was sentenced in federal court to just under 9 years in prison, followed by 3 years of supervision upon release. The two men who broke in, Jonathan Combs and Martin Taft, were also convicted and are serving time in prison…
