PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A patient at a New York City hospital was shot and killed by police after taking two hostages with a sharp object, police said.
Police received multiple 911 calls Thursday reporting a violent male with a knife inside Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
According to sources, one of the 911 callers was heard shouting, “Put it down!” and “I don’t know what’s wrong with him, please help.”
