NORTH CAROLINA — A dangerous high-speed police chase tore through Charlotte on Monday morning, nearly injuring a construction worker in the busy Plaza Midwood area before ending with the suspect’s arrest in Salisbury, according to authorities.
The pursuit involved a white SUV that fled from police and was tracked by aerial units as it sped through multiple neighborhoods, ran red lights, drove the wrong way on city streets, and narrowly avoided hitting pedestrians and workers.
