PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — Phenix City officials are advising motorists of a road closure and construction that is expected to last one week.
According to Phenix City Dept. of Public Works, Alabama Power will be closing the intersection of 24th Street and 21st Avenue to begin placing new power poles in the area.
The work will begin on Monday, Jan. 12, and is expected to last until Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. Dates and times of construction are subject to change due to varying weather circumstances.
