No snow for Pa. Farm Show opening: It’s more common than you think

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Milkshakes, animals and plenty of family fun are what you expect to find at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg each January. Snow is usually part of the expectation, too.

This year, however, weather leading up to the Farm Show featured sunshine and temperatures climbing into the 50s… far from what we usually expect!

Looking back at the last 20 Farm Show opening weekends, back to 2006, shows that snowfall during the event’s kickoff is actually less common than you might think…
