PALMYRA – The Palmyra School Board made no decision Thursday night concerning the fates of suspended head wrestling coach Jon Regets and assistant coach Josh Weidman.
Instead, the board heard impassioned pleas from Palmyra wrestlers, parents, former parents and citizens, beseeching them to reinstate Regets and Weidman at its scheduled agenda meeting.
“We understand the importance of wrestling at Palmyra, but we continue to work with administration and our solicitor concerning compliance and applicable laws, so this matter cannot be resolved this evening,” said Palmyra School Board president Jill Martin…
