BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WALA) – A woman was arrested after she allegedly left two children in a car while she went into the Baldwin County Courthouse for nearly two hours, according to police.
Police said they got a call at 10:15 am on Thursday, Jan 8 about two children in a car that was turned off with the windows up.
The children, a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old, were sweating when they were removed from the car, but were ok after being checked out by EMS, according to authorities.
Petronila Vicinte-Gonzales was located in the courthouse and arrested on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to jail records…
