MOBILE, Ala. — The Port City Chapter of Blacks in Government, Inc. will present the 36th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Breakfast on Monday, January 19, 2026, at The Calirojae, 1004 Dauphin Island Parkway.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with doors opening at 8:00 a.m.
Congressman Shomari C. Figures will serve as this year’s speaker. The Mobile native graduated from John L. Leflore Magnet School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and History from the University of Alabama and Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law.
