PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A person was taken to the hospital Friday after an unidentified powder was found at the R.I. Secretary of State’s Office in Providence.
Kristy dosReis, a spokesperson for the Providence Police Department, told 12 News a hazmat team responded to West River Street and will investigate along with R.I. State Police and the R.I. Department of Environmental Management (DEM).
