(FOX 5/KUSI) — A Macy’s store in San Diego County was named among more than a dozen stores slated for closure in 12 states across the U.S. this year.
According to a memo shared with employees on Thursday, the company’s CEO Tony Spring said the closures are part of Macy’s “Bold New Chapter” plan which aims to prioritize investments in some locations while closing underperforming stores.
