SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Louisiana-based rapper Torrence “Boosie Badazz” Hatch Jr. was sentenced by a federal judge in San Diego to time served and 300 hours of community service related to a count of firearm possession.
The rapper was arrested by San Diego police on May 6, 2023, after two loaded handguns were found during a traffic stop in the Chollas View neighborhood. He had been in town to film a music video and to perform at a Gaslamp Quarter nightclub in downtown.
Court documents allege Hatch was seen by police with a gun in his waistband on an Instagram livestream while he was filming the music video in what appeared to be the backyard of a home. They used a helicopter to track down the vehicle he was in, conducting the traffic stop and arresting him at that time…
