Tracking more fog overnight
Another round of dense fog and low stratus clouds is expected to develop tonight, reducing visibility for evening activities and the overnight hours. Drivers and boaters should use extra caution if traveling after dark.
The fog should lift by late morning or early afternoon Friday, allowing temperatures to climb into the upper 70s with a light to moderate breeze. The pattern of morning fog will continue Friday night and into Saturday morning, with similar afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
Scattered Rain and Breezy Conditions Saturday
A cold front will arrive Saturday afternoon into the evening, bringing scattered showers and breezy conditions to the area. There is a 30 to 40 percent chance of rain Saturday evening and overnight, with scattered showers lingering into Sunday morning.
Most rainfall totals are expected to remain under half an inch, though some locations west of the Flint and Apalachicola Rivers could see up to an inch of rain from the cold front.
