Vince Young Steakhouse’s Beginning In Austin, Texas
According to KVUE, Phil and Laura Brown brought Vince Young’s Steakhouse to the city of Austin in 2010. When them obtaining rights from Vince Young himself to use his name, business was set to be excellent from the beginning.

After all, many a Texas Longhorn fan would make their way to the eatery due to the success of Young during his years at the school. For a period of almost 16 years, the restaurant has stood proudly in the city. But, as with all things, nothing lasts forever.
It has recently been announced that the steakhouse is set close very soon.
Vince Young’s Steakhouse Set To Close In January 2026
As revealed by KVUE, the Vince Young Steakhouse owners, the previously mentioned Phil and Laura Brown, announced this restaurant would close on January 24th, 2026. Phil said the following about the closure:
“We are incredibly proud of what this restaurant has meant to Austin and [are] deeply grateful to every guest and employee who made the past 15 years possible.”…
