Dear Editor: Once again, thank you Paul Fanlund for your brilliant analysis of the current mayor’s “uniparty” (“A New Year’s appeal to Madison’s ruling ‘uniparty,’” Jan. 5).
And I’m pleased that you used Sequoya Commons as an example of successful urban design. That brings me to the subject of the importance of working city commissions and committees. If they are populated by citizens who care about the city and follow the rules more than carrying water for the mayor great projects could be built all over…
