New Orleans human trafficking ring involving adults and juveniles shut down, police say

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Police Department, along with multiple federal and local law enforcement partners arrested four people on Jan. 8, in connection with an ongoing human trafficking investigation.

The investigation, which began in August 2025, led detectives to determine that the suspects were operating a human trafficking ring out of a location in the Seventh District. Police believe the operation involved multiple juvenile and adult female victims.

NOPD’s Special Victims Section worked with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations to gather information, develop leads and identify the suspects…
