OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man made an appearance in court after being arrested after driving the wrong way on Interstate 80 in Omaha.
65-year-old Richard Wheeler was charged with DUI (.15+) and willful reckless driving, both misdemeanors.
Wheeler’s bond was set at $20,000. Should he post bond, Wheeler is required to follow a 24/7 sobriety program.
According to court documents, Wheeler was heading eastbound on the westbound I-80 lanes near 108th and Center when a patrol officer attempted to block him from driving any further…
