OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – North Omaha residents say they’re missing basic services in their neighborhood. An empty lot could become a part of the solution.
The site is owned by Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Their Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Ralph Lassiter, is the planning director for the future Moriah Intergenerational Center.
“We see it as a shared home where the North Omaha community will move, heal and grow as a result of economic development,” Lassiter said.
