NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will close eastbound I-84 between Garrity (Exit 38) and Ten Mile (Exit 42) from Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. until Jan. 19 at 5 a.m.
Eastbound I-84 will exit and re-enter using the new ramps for the duration of the closure. See detour map. Westbound I-84 will be reduced to two lanes each night. All westbound lanes will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
ITD says this closure will allow crews to install 16 girders for the first of two new flyover ramps. Each girder is approximately 117 feet long and weighs about 42,000 pounds…
