Alabama 50501 held a vigil to mourn Renee Good, the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Good’s photo was hung up in Five Points South with a string of lights, white roses, and the American flag.
“That shouldn’t happen in our country. She leaves behind a child whose father had passed. I mean, it could literally be any one of us, where there was a misunderstanding and someone literally like point a gun and shoot you in the head in your car,” said Stephanie.
Stephanie was one of the woman memorializing Renee’s photo. She described Wednesday’s fatal shooting as traumatizing and scary. Stephanie said she wants people to remember Renee’s sacrifice.
