A young mother has been charged in the death of her one-year-old daughter after investigators say the child was exposed to illegal drugs at a motel, in a case which authorities described as the result of “reckless” parenting.
Brionce Parks faces felony charges of child abuse and exposing a child to a controlled substance following the death of her daughter, Kamelah Doris Michilena, at a property in North Carolina. The investigation began early on December 26th, shortly after Christmas Day ended.
