Westfield Police Arrest Two After High-Speed Chase and Drug and Firearms Bust in Indianapolis

Following a dogged pursuit through Indianapolis streets, Westfield Police have announced the arrest of two individuals after a drug and firearms bust, as posted on the department’s social media. On the afternoon of Tuesday, police detectives, keeping close eyes on the 17000 block of Hawaii Court, identified suspicious activity that seemed to echo the well-worn echoes of a drug deal in the making, leading to a tense vehicle chase and eventual arrests.

The ordeal began when an attempted traffic stop, near Keystone Parkway and 116th Street unfolded into a high-speed chase as the suspect’s vehicle dashed eastbound on I-465, racing toward Indianapolis with law enforcement from multiple agencies in hot pursuit—Carmel Police Department, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and Indiana State Police chipped in, closing the net around the fleeing suspect until a Carmel officer carried out a disabling PIT maneuver, ultimately stilling the outlaw’s escape on Sherman Drive and 25th Street.
