COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — In recent years, many tech companies have decided to build in central Ohio. Business leaders say the boom is bringing in a lot of new jobs, but we need more qualified workers to fill those jobs.
By 2030, central Ohio is expected to be home to more than 130,000 jobs in the tech industry. Ohio Chamber of Commerce President Steve Stivers says more investments are needed to prepare workers to fill the demand.
“We need workers with better and explicit tech skills,” Stivers said.
