Flash flood warning issued for Cherokee County

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Cherokee County until 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to NWS, at 10:27 a.m. Saturday, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warning area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell Saturday morning and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible.
